Match 10:Kolkata registered their first victory in IPL 2012
Lakshmipathy Balaji took four for 18 as the Kolkata Knight Riders convincingly beat the Royal Challengers Bangalore by 42-runs. Captain Gautam Gambhir smacked 64 in 39 balls, Manvinder Bisla scored 46 in 29 balls.Kolkata Knight Riders made 165 for eight.
In reply,Bangalore were restricted to 123 for nine.Vinay Kumar (25) and Daniel Vettori (20) tried to get Bangalore back into the game,they failed to do so.

Match 5:Bangalore Began With A Win in IPL 2012
The Royal Challengers Bangalore won their first match of the Indian Premier League 2012 beating Delhi Daredevils by 20 runs,thanks to superb innings by de Villiers,who made 64 runs and magical bowling by Murali who took 3 wickets.AB de Villiers smashed six fours and two sixes.
In reply to Bangalore’s 157,Delhi’s Cheteshwar Pujara gave a good start.but after that wickets started falling.Ojha top scored with 33,including five fours and a six while Finch scored 25.In the end,Delhi managed to score 137 runs in 20 overs.

Match-74:Chennai Super Kings Clinched The IPL 2011 Title
The Chennai Super Kings retained the IPL title by crushing Royal Challengers Bangalore by 58 runs in the final IPL 2011 at Chennai.Murali Vijay played an outstanding innings of 95 off only 52 balls, hitting four fours and six sixes to set up a winning score 205 for five for the Chennai Super Kings.Hussey stroked 63 runs off 45 balls, with three fours and three sixes.Dhoni contributed by smashing quick 22 runs off 13 balls with two sixes.
Chasing a mammoth total,Royal Challengers Bangalore lost Gayle for a duck.Virat Kohli showed some resistance,scoring 35 runs off 32 balls.Top scorer was Saurabh Tiwary who scored 42 runs.all other batsmen did not contribute much with the bat.Ashwin took three for 16 in four overs,including the most valuable wicket of Gayle.Shadab Jakati picked up two for 21.
Match-73:Gayle steered Bangalore Into IPL Final
Chris Gayle hammered an explosive 89 in 47 balls,hitting nine fours and five sixes,as the Royal Challengers Bangalore beat the Mumbai Indians by a large margin of 43-runs.Mayank Agarwal smashed 41 in 31 balls.Challengers made 185 for four.
Mumbai Indians could only reach 142 for eight in reply.Tendulkar top scored with 40 in 24 balls, hitting seven fours.Syed Mohammed took two wickets for 25.Daniel Vettori played a captain’s role,taking three for 19.
The final of IPL- 2011 will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings on 28th May,Saturday.

Match-71:Raina Guided Chennai Into IPL 2011 Final
Suresh Raina hammered an explosive unbeaten half-century (73 off 50 balls),hitting six towering sixes and four fours,to guide Chennai Super Kings into the final beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by six wickets.Chennai Super Kings managed to score the required 58 runs in the final four overs.Morkel hit two sixes and Raina one in the 19th, the Super Kings needed 12 to win from the final over,which they managed score in first four balls of the last over.Badrinath smashed 34 in 32 balls.Dhoni smacked 29 in 19 balls.
Earlier,Royal Challengers Bangalore set the challenging total of 175 for four for Chennai,thanks to Virat Kohli who stroked an excellent unbeaten 70 in 44 balls,hitting five fours and three sixes.Mayank Agarwal hit the vital 34 runs.
The Royal Challengers will have a second chance to book a place in the final,as they will play the winner of the second play-off eliminator between the Mumbai Indians and the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Chris Gayle hammered 77 not out off 44 balls with six fours and four sixes,guiding Royal Challengers Bangalore over Rajasthan Royal by nine wickets at Jaipur.Virat Kohli stayed till the end with Gayle,putting on 83 runs.Tillakaratne Dilshan scored 38 runs off 28 balls. He hit eight fours.
Earlier, Rajasthan batted first and started off well as Shane Watson and Rahul Dravid provided a solid first wicket partnership.Watson hit 34 runs off 29 balls,including three fours and two sixes and Dravid scored 37 off 31 balls,including six boundaries.
Sreenath Aravind struck a double blow,removing both Watson and Dravid.After that no other batsman could stay on pitch for a long time.Royals finished at 146 for six in their twenty overs.

Match-50:Royal Challengers Beat Kochi Tuskers Kerala By Nine Wickets
Tillakaratne Dilshan scored an unbeaten half-century as the Royal Challengers Bangalore registered a victory over the Kochi Tuskers Kerala at Bangalore.Dilshan smashed 52 off 31 balls.Chris Gayle smacked 44 runs off 15 balls with five sixes and three fours.Virat Kohli who was unbeaten on 27 runs off 33 balls.
From Kochi,McCullum made 24 runs and Klinger got 22.Ravindra Jadeja played contributed by making 23 runs off 22 balls,with two fours.But eventually they finished at 125 for nine.Daniel Vettori picked two wickets as also did Sreenath Aravind.
Match-47:Chris Gayle Crushed Kings XI Punjab
Chris Gayle's terrific century helped the Royal Challengers Bangalore to beat Kings XI Punjab by 85-runs.He smashed 107 runs,hitting ten fours and nine huge sixes.he faced just 49 balls to reach three figures,which is the second time in IPL.Virat Kohli contributed with 27 and AB de Villiers made 27.Ryan Harris took three wickets for Punjab.
The Kings XI’s batting collapsed thanks to Sreenath Aravind, who took four for 14 and Gayle,grabbed three for 21.Ryan McLaren (28),Paul Valthaty (21), Dinesh Karthik (20) were the top scorers for Punjab.

Match-35:Royal Challengers Bangalore Beat Pune Warriors By 26 Runs
Royal Challengers Bangalore crushed Pune Warriors at Bangalore,beating by 26 runs. Pune have now lost their five games in a row.
Put into bat first,Chris Gayle provided Bangalore a superb start,smashing 49 runs off 26 balls,hitting four fours and four sixes.Virat Kohli contributed well with a second consecutive half century,making 67 runs off 42 balls, including four boundaries and four sixes. Bangalore made 181 for 5 in their twenty overs.
In reply,Pune Warriors made a decent start as Jesse Ryder stroked a half century.Skipper Yuvraj Singh made 41 runs off only 23 balls,hitting two fours and three sixes, while Robin Uthappa scored 23 runs off 17 balls,but Pune fell short once again.
Match-30:Bangalore Defeated Delhi Daredevils
Bangalore captain Daniel Vettori showcased a superb performance to rescue his side and to guide his side to a three-wicket win over Delhi with three balls to spare.
Earlier,James Hopes' 54 off 43 balls, including seven fours,helped the Daredevils post a competitive 160 for six.Venugopal Rao made 24 runs off 21 balls.Sehwag smashed a quick 25 off 18 balls with three fours.
Chasing 161 runs for victory, Bangalore faced the early dismissal of Tilakratne Dilshan for a duck.but Virat Kohli hit valuable 56.Gayle scored 26 runs.

Match-24:Gayle smashed a fine century as Royal Challengers Bangalore beat the Kolkata Knight Riders
Chris Gayle, from the Royal Challengers Bangalore,hammered a 55-ball century,hitting ten fours and seven huge sixes to register a much-needed victory over the Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens.He was supported well by Dilshan who made 38 in 31 balls and Virat Kohli who scored 30 not out in 23 balls.
Earlier, the Knight Riders batted well to reach 171 for five.Gautam Gambhir made 48, Yusuf Pathan made 46 off 26,hitting three fours and three sixes and Jacques Kallis made 40.

Match-14:Hussey’s half- century helped Chennai to beat Banglore
Chennai Super Kings registered a win over Royal Challengers Bangalore at Chennai, winning by 22 runs.
Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first.Openers Murali Vijay and Michael Hussey gave them strong start, putting up 51 runs for the first wicket. Vijay was out for 31 runs made off 21 balls, including three fours and two sixes. Raina made 29 runs with three boundaries and Dhoni made 22 runs with one four. They both also hit one six each.But the major contribution was by Hussey,who made 83 runs off only 56 balls, with 11 boundaries.With the help of his fine knock, Chennai reached 183 for five in their 20 overs.
From Bangalore, only Kohli and de Villiers contributed well.all other batsmen struggled and got out cheaply. Kohli made 35 runs, de Villiers scored 64 runs off 44 balls with five fours and two sixes. But their efforts were never going to be enough to beat Chennai.
