Match-14:Hussey’s half- century helped Chennai to beat Banglore

Chennai Super Kings registered a win over Royal Challengers Bangalore at Chennai,  winning by 22 runs.

Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first.Openers Murali Vijay and Michael Hussey gave them strong start, putting up 51 runs for the first wicket. Vijay was out for 31 runs made off 21 balls, including three fours and two sixes. Raina made 29 runs with three boundaries and Dhoni made 22 runs with one four. They both also hit one six each.But the major contribution was  by Hussey,who made 83 runs off only 56 balls, with 11 boundaries.With the help of his fine knock, Chennai reached 183 for five in their 20 overs.

From Bangalore, only Kohli and de Villiers contributed well.all other batsmen struggled and got out cheaply. Kohli made 35 runs, de Villiers scored 64 runs off 44 balls with five fours and two sixes. But their efforts were never going to be enough to beat  Chennai.
