Chennai Super Kings register a comprehensive 25 run win over Pune Warriors at home,with the help of Michael Hussey’s fine knock of 61,stroking six fours and a six and Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s important 26 in 21 balls. Super Kings posted the total of 142 for six.
Jerome Taylor took three for 29 and Thomas returned two for 28.
Chasing 143 to win,Pune had a shaky start losing 40 for four.Yuvraj Singh showed his class with 33 in 43 balls but it was not good enough to beat the 2010 Champions.They were restricted to 117 for nine.
Bollinger returned with two wickets. Albie Morkel took three for 29.
