Delhi Daredevils registered an eight-wicket victory against Kolkata Knight Riders in their opening match,which was reduced by rain to 12 overs per side.Irfan Pathan scored an unbeaten 42 in 20 balls to guide his team to a victory with five balls to spare.Irfan Pathan hit three big sixes,releasing the pressure of falling two quick wickets.
Earlier,Laxmi Shukla scored 26 in 17 balls for KKR.Gautam Gambhir scored 16. Debabrata Das made 18,hitting two big sixes . Morne Morkel took three for 18 for Daredevils.
